INDUCING SYSTEMIC ACQUIRED RESISTANCE IN PEPPER PLANTS AGAINST RHIZOCTONIA SOLANI

This study was initiated to assess the efficacy of some biological materials separately or mixed control Rhizoctonia root rot disease caused by fungus solani. In vitro assessment showed; glutathione could inhabit fungal growth up 100% at concentration 3000 mg/L. Whereas, bacterium Azospirillum brasilense scored 78.63% inhibitory 10-5 concentration. The bio-agent Trichoderma viride 1.33 highest antagonistic activity 5 days inoculation on PDA medium.
